So Many Projects, Soooo Little Time to do Them!
Where do I start with the many projects I have going? I want to make some stuffed animals for Aryana for Christmas, I have several ready to start. I made at least 9 Christmas Mittens for my nieces and nephews last year along with some stuffed animals for them also. I started in August and finally finished in November and was able to get them out in December just before Christmas. Now that Aryana is here my stuffed animal creations will be for her. I hope that she likes them. When I get finished with them I will put some pictures on here or Facebook so everyone can see them. Hopefully, someone out there will want to buy one or two of them. I will need at least a 6-8 week lead time for animals, blankets, hats, bibs, or sweaters. Sweaters depending on the pattern may take a somewhat longer time period. Right now I am going to start on hats for baby, lets see, who should I get to be my model? Maybe Aryana will help Gram do that for me. I have a picture of her in a hat that I made, but the hat is a little too big and she does look cute, but would be better if it fit her better.

GRANDMA
On March 27, 2009 our Daughter, Cathryn, gave us the greatest gift of all. We now have a granddaughter! Her name is Aryana Rose and she is 4 mos old. She has made a big difference in my life. Cathryn had to go back to work after a short 6 week leave from her job. I watch the baby. Since I had my baby almost 24 years ago, many things have changed! The biggest thing that has changed is me. I was an older mother to start, but I hope better because I waited so long to be a mom. But now I'm 24 years older! Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe it's me that has changed the most, not the babies. I love being with Aryana but I had forgotten how much work you need to devote to her. Sometimes when Cathryn comes to get her, all of us are sleeping in the living room with the TV going. We get so tired that it is a good thing Aryana likes to sleep too. Aryana has started to eat baby food, she is not quite sure whether it is a good thing or a bad thing. She has picked up a few things from Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma has taught her how to make some sounds that her Mommy did not know about, and Grandpa has taught her how to cough. Grandpa coughs all the time and now Aryana does it. It is so cute! More later........

Handmade Scarves
Today I am going to try to enter some pictures of my scarves that I have for sale. I have spent many hours making them and now I am ready to part with them. I have them on sale at Etsy.com and also here. I have not been able to get many pictures of them on Etsy, but I am going to try again. These scarves are made from all different yarns, some regular yarn, and some others that are called "Fun Fur". If you have any questions, please let me know.
They are $20.00 each and $3.00 shipping per scarf. If you order more than one, I will be able to reduce the price to $18.00 each.

A Blog About Everything In My Life!
This is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me. I have much on my mind and need to share many things with others. I am a 64 year old wife, mom, and recently a new grandma. The loves of my life are Louis, my hubby of 27 years on September 18, 2009, my daughter, Cathryn, who will be 24 years old on September 18, 2009. Yes, she was born on our 3rd wedding anniversary. My newest love is my granddaughter, Aryana, she is 4 months old and she already has the family rapped around her little finger. Her smiles and laughter make my heart melt. I look at her and see the future that she will have, successful and rewarding, the same as when I look at our daughter. Our Cathryn is finishing up college and is working on a Criminal Justice career. She works at Universal Orlando Studios in the security department.
Hubby and I are retired and we take care of Aryana everyday except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays when her parents both have days off.
